Magnetic Paper Doll Kids Activity (Free Template)
If you are traveling or indoors these days magnetic paper doll kids will be a life saver. You can DOWNLOAD this set of paper dolls and accessories for FREE (limited time offer).
Whether your child is heading back to classroom or learning from home this hands-on project can be used anywhere.
Set the Scene
Simple scenes are easy to create with pictures, drawings and scrapbook paper: backyard, school room, ocean, bedroom, etc..
The characters, clothing and accessories are included in both color, and black and white.
Create outdoor environments, or scenery with your own drawings. Use scrapbook paper as wall paper and use clipart images from other sets to help create different environments for the character in this set.
Printable templates and guidelines are included in this activity. You will need magnets. I use self-sticking magnetic tape. Use colors or marking pens to color in the black and white line drawings. Marking pens might be messy but the colors are so much brighter.
(Get magnetic strips from Hobby Lobby, Michaels and most craft stores.)
Play Areas
Play with magnetic paper dolls on any metal surface, cans, whiteboards, refrigerators, cookie sheets, washing machines, etc.).
CAUTION: Magnets are a choking hazard. Please do NOT use small magnets if children are apt to put things in their mouths.
TRAVELING: A cookie sheet and sets of colorful magnetic paper doll kids are the perfect travel companion.
CLASSROOMS: A white board allows kids to draw scenes for their stories. It is a little messy! Adults – write story starter prompts on the top of a white board or story titles like Mystery of the Missing Monster.
BUSY IN THE KITCHEN: If you are busy in the kitchen the refrigerator is a perfect play area for little guys.
I hope you enjoy this activity and that it provides your little guys hours of fun.
Thank you for any comments or suggestions you have time to provide and have a safe week.
