Hugs by Mail Card Craft
Who doesn’t love getting mail the old-fashioned way – in the mailbox?
Sending a hug along with your message will go a long way to making friends, and loved ones feel extra special.
Hugs by Mail Craft
Print out the free template. You probably already have all the supplies you will need to make this fun craft.
Materials
- Hugs by Mail Template (Click Download to print)
- Colors or markers
- Card stock (white or colored)
- Scissors
- Glue (
Instructions
Download the free Hugs by Mail template and print it on cardstock. Click here to download.
Color and cut out the pieces you need. Use the hair from the template or draw your own hair.
Glue or draw hair, hats, glasses, freckles, or whatever you like – to make your face look like YOU! You might want to draw hair on the pattern before you cut it out.
Glue the chin to the card where indicated. Fold the sides of the card in on the fold lines.
Glue the hands to the outside of the card (thumbs up).
Now kids are ready to write a message and draw pictures. This is a perfect project for Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, or anytime a THANK YOU is needed.
